KEEP IT LIGHT
I NEVER THOUGHT IT WOULD END LIKE THIS,
Your face and voice I truly miss.
All my days and nights I spend alone,
Lost in the void linger in the unknown.
What becomes of the broken hearts,
A tangled mess no where to start.
I hear your happy and doing well,
My world is dark a living hell.
Not sure why you can't be a friend
A smile a kind word a hand to lend.
Don't know why you won't talk to me,
Don't know why this has to be.
You want nothing to do with me so I'm told,
I wonder if you wonder how i keep control.
I know our love is no more,
I'm not looking to even the score.
A cup of coffee not looking to fight,
Easy chit-chat will keep it light.
