Music shouldn't influence their minds
Parents should be their biggest influence
Not a song or an actors line
But the industry is very dominate
Kids cant help but to absorb it
so shouldn't a little more effort be taken to
To try and control it
I have my own children I try hard to teach
But what good is helping just mine when
When there are others I cant reach
I dont want to blame music but listen to these songs
I know im not the only one who feels this is wrong
The way these reality shows gives 15 minutes of fame
Thats why these girl fights are recorded everyday
I dont know (shrugs) who am I to speak
I just wish we would teach our kids to rise above the influence
