Life
Forget the road map,
Forget the GPS,
Forget your way,
Forget everything.
Life has no maps,
Gps doesn't work,
And behind nice facades,
Cruel faces lurk,
The roadmap they gave you comes at a cost,
Because it teaches you what you don't need to learn,
It makes you question yourself,
And on the inside burn,
So throw the map to the side,
Learn only what you need to know,
Remember that you cannot just live at any cost.
Because in life you need to find yourself and you only can if you're lost.
Forget the GPS,
Forget your way,
Forget everything.
Life has no maps,
Gps doesn't work,
And behind nice facades,
Cruel faces lurk,
The roadmap they gave you comes at a cost,
Because it teaches you what you don't need to learn,
It makes you question yourself,
And on the inside burn,
So throw the map to the side,
Learn only what you need to know,
Remember that you cannot just live at any cost.
Because in life you need to find yourself and you only can if you're lost.
This Poems Story
This is simply a poem I composed because I agreed with the point of view of someobe who claimed, that adhering to the ideals put before you leads to a very empty life. Find who you are. Not what someone else tells you you are. Only you can look within yourself.
