Life
Life,
some people take it for granted
When others suffer with what they were handed
Born with that silver spoon
Everything given on a golden platter
Funny, how when times get tough they tend to scatter
those who have fought for what they have, Anytime someone needs them
They would climb that rope ladder
Simply because they know the feeling
Trying to keep their heads above water
At the end of the day they continue breathing.
So you tell me which sounds more appealing....
Living life looking down at people
On the ground kneeling
Or rising yourself to the ceiling
Sure an easy life sounds great
But I would rather open my own gate
It's all about the choices you make
Nobody is perfect, that's a fact
In ourselves we see our own flaws
All it takes is to simply react
Set a goal in mind and don't retract.
