Lost Little Girl
She opens her eyes
and examines the prison that has her bound,
Desperately seeking justice
but yet there is none to be found.
Love is so far and hope hides in the shadows,
Only fear and struggle is what she knows.
Fighting a war that has no cause,
Seeing no justice in mans laws.
Breaking the strong and uplifting the wrong,
Why must this hatred prolong?
Why do they get to choose what is right?
When she is the one who has always had to fight.
No one on her side,
So in the darkness she hides.
Hiding from the pain,
That she cannot change.
