Love so true , pure and devine

By Donna Sisk

The sun is shining
then it is dimming
On a love so true so pure
so devine
The waves of the sea come
crashing beneath
The stars at night
no longer are bright
One love so true so pure so
devine
Broken holes, broken dreams
broken promises no more
Chance after chance
Lie after lie
No more love to give
No more dreams to dream
The smile is gone the dimming
Of love once so sweet so true
Take all of this hurt all of this pain
and make it all yours for I want it no more
Oh a love so true , pure and devine
