Loyalty Is Not Just Being Faithful (https://www.pajibobookstore.com)
When nobody catches your attention, and there are no forbidden lips to kiss.
It is easy to preach commitment when no other heart calls your name,
But character reveals its true nature when desire enters the game love.
For love is more than words and promises whispered in the night;
It is choosing to protect what you have when something else looks right or desirable.
Loyalty is standing firm when temptation comes dressed in sweet disguise,
When another offers you excitement and admiration in their eyes.
It is remembering the heart that trusts you when nobody is around,
And refusing to trade a love built over years for pleasure that is bound To fade like morning mist beneath the rising sun,
Leaving broken hearts to wonder how betrayal could be done.
So do not call yourself loyal simply because you’ve never strayed;
True loyalty is measured by the choices that you make when you are swayed.
It is having every opportunity to betray, but choosing to remain true,
Remembering the vows you made and the love that once connected you to your partner.
Loyality is not the absence of temptation standing at your door;
It is choosing the one you love when temptation offers you more.
