You can keep your Army Green
You can keep your Navy Blue
I've got the world's best fighting man
To introduce to you

His uniform is different
The best you've ever seen
The German's called him Devil Dog
His real name is Marine

He's deadly with a rifle
A bayonet of steel
He took the warrior's calling
And he's mastered how to kill

So listen up you young girls
This Devil Dog is clever
Go get yourself a good Marine
Cause we stay true forever

He'll hug you and he'll kiss you
And he'll treat you like a queen
There is no better fighting man
Than a Semper Fi Marine
