Memories in the Rain
Memories,
Flooded through my mind
Trickling down
Like raindrops
Words,
Flowed through my tongue
Falling
As swift as tears
Promises
Slipped through my heart
Rushing
Like an endless river
Moments,
Flashed in my eyes,
Beaming
As the lightning in the sky
Secrets
Chimed in my ears,
Hissing,
Like the falling rain
You,
Were closed by my side,
Smiling,
And drenched in the rain.
Flooded through my mind
Trickling down
Like raindrops
Words,
Flowed through my tongue
Falling
As swift as tears
Promises
Slipped through my heart
Rushing
Like an endless river
Moments,
Flashed in my eyes,
Beaming
As the lightning in the sky
Secrets
Chimed in my ears,
Hissing,
Like the falling rain
You,
Were closed by my side,
Smiling,
And drenched in the rain.
