Mom
Mom
I went to visit her one evening in the start of spring
She was smiling like she didn't care about a thing
The next morning i jumped up because i received a call
I had no idea at that moment it would be the end of it all
She was young still beautiful but had been very ill
All I could do is stand frozen with a long cold chill
It was too soon I thought, as i wiped my tears
I never knew it was the start of all my endless fears
My mom left me and I didn't know what to do
All I could think is I haven't a clue
I love my mom this much is correct
I would see family and friends and avoid the subject
My mom will always be a part of my heart and soul
I had a long journey that will soon take a toil
