Mountain Man

A stiff breeze, an electric haze, the sound of ash lightly kissing the ground
The deep rumble of the earth as he shifts and sways
The dense darkness covers the light of day

Viciously spewing its devouring death, a river of bubbling orange fire
Rock raining down from heaven as he explodes in his hate
The angry mountain causing so much fear and pain

We must flee our home because of his rage
Another drunken stupor, another tormented night
His face would change so drastically, so full of fright

Running to get away as he erupted in drunken madness
Boiling, bubbling, vomitus venom
His words were so full of crushing sadness

Today he continues to stew and simmer
The mountain groans on in its gray old exterior
Its future so dark, getting ever dimmer
