Mourning Earth

Pardon me bleeding piece of earth
I see your excruciating pain
like a pregnant woman in labor date
losing her beauty along with stain

Creatures sometimes welcome evil as fair
quelling nature and watching it rage
visiting souls in a journey without fare
mother earth our home of all age

O, remember us in your raging day
for in you is still our home
good or evil you richly repay
So let’s give her peace and freedom

Come, come the earth is crying
let’s find a way to stop her from dying
