i give to you,
don’t let the time matter.

it’s all for you,
the hourglass i’ll shatter.
i’ve been confidential as a friend,
i’ve helped my best,
it’s a love i lend
which you took without return.
you walk in front, arm in arm
with one whose concern is less,
yet you act as though
what’s been, has gone.
my love for you is now alone.
and if the chance will never be,
at least walk with someone
you believe is closer than me,
for i know he couldn’t possibly
care as much for you.

Being ignored after having a loving relationship and having to watch her be with someone else who i know didn\'t really love her. He was just taking advantage of her.
