Autumn’s leaves
full summer trees
probing mountain peaks,
in waterfall’s rage
misty rainbow cage
the sunshine from the east.
perfumed delicate flower
sunset’s exhilarating power
miracle of life, reproduce.
take advantage of these
soar to extremes
shopping Mother Nature’s produce.

This Poems Story
I love poems about nature, there are so many ways to write a poem using nature as a metaphor. What i wanted to do in this poem was not to use a metaphor but to capture all of Mother Nature in as few words as possible. And to encourage the reader to soak up and appreciate and to enjoy all Mother Nature has to offer.
