oblivious
i am oblivious
i used to be sad
the thought of losing you crushed me in ways nothing else could
but now,
now i am empty
and the feelings you once gave me, the good and the bad
have dissolved into mere nothingingness
the ungodly way your lips gently formed the words that carried empty promises from your lungs to the tip of your tongue
have twisted my thoughts for far long enough
but now i suppose i am free
i am my own beautiful abomination, thank you
i used to be sad
the thought of losing you crushed me in ways nothing else could
but now,
now i am empty
and the feelings you once gave me, the good and the bad
have dissolved into mere nothingingness
the ungodly way your lips gently formed the words that carried empty promises from your lungs to the tip of your tongue
have twisted my thoughts for far long enough
but now i suppose i am free
i am my own beautiful abomination, thank you
