One Last Fight

If i could sing this to you i would,
If i could say this to you i would,
But i can't do either of those,
So the writing i chose,
My heart has been daunting the idea of what may come,
But you have given me hope,
A tiny spark in the oceans of darkness within me,
I'm swimming in regrets and sorrow,
You are the lighthouse that brings me back to shore,
But the tide is swaying me back in,
The lighthouse has only gotten brighter,
You haven't lost me,
But darkness is the only thing i can see,
You jump in the ocean and try to set me free,
From a world of trouble and constant captivity,
Incarcerated in my troubled ways,
You knock on the door and say
"trust me i can take you far away",
It was a voice that i needed,
A voice that i should never take for granted,
I finally open the door,
Now we can face the sea together,
One last fight.
