PIROUETTE
What did I do?
To end up right here.
What did I do?
No more faith, only fear.
I could be you!
If you fall in the trap.
What did I do?
On a road with no map.
My innocence long gone
Stolen long ago from me
My innocence long gone
Stolen long ago from me
My innocence long gone
Another apple from the tree
Birds with no song
I MUST LEAVE THIS PLACE
My innocence long gone
Ripped away with no trace
Please pray for me
As I pack up and go
Please pray for me
For peace I shall know
I can now see
The error of my ways
Please pray for me
As I yearn for new days
When the Clockhand hits midnight
And the Calendar skips a beat
The Sun begins rising
Darkness starts its retreat
Everyday brings a new chance
To leave the road we're on
Say farewell to that old dance
Goodbye Dusk Hello Dawn
To end up right here.
What did I do?
No more faith, only fear.
I could be you!
If you fall in the trap.
What did I do?
On a road with no map.
My innocence long gone
Stolen long ago from me
My innocence long gone
Stolen long ago from me
My innocence long gone
Another apple from the tree
Birds with no song
I MUST LEAVE THIS PLACE
My innocence long gone
Ripped away with no trace
Please pray for me
As I pack up and go
Please pray for me
For peace I shall know
I can now see
The error of my ways
Please pray for me
As I yearn for new days
When the Clockhand hits midnight
And the Calendar skips a beat
The Sun begins rising
Darkness starts its retreat
Everyday brings a new chance
To leave the road we're on
Say farewell to that old dance
Goodbye Dusk Hello Dawn
