Reason

When darkness gave way to light,
My pain began to fade.
I somehow kept you in my sight,
Through you friends were made.

You have stayed through thick and thin,
Always by my side.
Even when I lost all kin,
You didn't let me hide.

Now agony is setting in,
I said goodbye today.
But somehow above the din,
I found the strength to pray.

The things that happen to me now,
Will strengthen all of me.
And it's true- I don't know how,
I have a reason to be.
