Each time I sit by my window
Imagining the night, I was with you
I stare at the stars, and the night reminds me of you
But one thing I’m sure I love you.
Each time I sit on the seashore
Remembering the waves that rock me and you
But now you’re gone with someone new
So I can’t, but I have to forget you.
This time I sit by my window
Telling the moon and the stars to forget you
The stars and the moon smile and erase you
Making my life anew for someone new.
