Right of way
A sad day
when the better than best
for richer and poorer
is called to a temporal rest.
They sit
on the sidelines of perdition
awaiting the entry of justice
and the abysmal biased decision.
Cry, my beloved country,
cry;
the future that was promised,
died.
when the better than best
for richer and poorer
is called to a temporal rest.
They sit
on the sidelines of perdition
awaiting the entry of justice
and the abysmal biased decision.
Cry, my beloved country,
cry;
the future that was promised,
died.

This Poems Story
During the years of Apartheid, South Africans and its global supporters appealed and protested against a regime that did not recognise true democracy. One race was favoured above the other. Every effort was in vain for true democracy and race relations have not been restored In fact, the \"colour\" of economic empowerment changed and the ratio system has proved unsuccessful and favoured the not so talented instead of the truly gifted. This led to jobs and tenders being handed out indiscriminately where the entire South Africa suffered.
