Shattered
I have at last shattered,
And in all my falling pieces
Hear a familiar symphony-
Foolish hope rekindled.
Leaden, I gaze at the sky
Watching my parts float glowing
Like embers across a black canvas,
Painting a new path forward.
Sometimes, I prefer the black.
And in all my falling pieces
Hear a familiar symphony-
Foolish hope rekindled.
Leaden, I gaze at the sky
Watching my parts float glowing
Like embers across a black canvas,
Painting a new path forward.
Sometimes, I prefer the black.
