Slow Motion

Words get twisted into the world of content’s fast food

Edited images rush across screens to tell our mood

the fake sound of a sampled human voice

tell us it's time to make our choice

clickbait is just what we believe in today

the algorithm decides it, and we will have nothing to say

it doesn't matter how much truth there is anymore

the important thing is to show something more and more

feeding on truth or lies is no longer important

numbers become the only values as an intendant

and we believe that this is making us live better than before

when instead we should look at the core.

If we could open a window in slow motion

maybe we'll see what we left without passion

nothing will give us back the hours of life we have lost

to make less effort and reduce the cost

it seems strange because let's say the opposite

but clicking without understanding where we are going by that website

it will often be a void that will remain inside us

and the skipping between our fingers will be the last bus.
