Smoke On The Mountain
From the northside of Mt. Shasta
Between her two royal peaks
She billowed out with smoke
As clear as the eyes can see
The smoke seemed to travel
And a matter of fact
It appeared to be a crack
That formed a straight line
Up Mt. Shastina's back
Sitting in wonder
In sight of the show
Thinking if it is time
Then I'm ready to go
I know there's a place
In God's good grace
As we meet face to face
As I've finished my race
But for now
I will sit here and marvel
At her beauty
Between her two royal peaks
She billowed out with smoke
As clear as the eyes can see
The smoke seemed to travel
And a matter of fact
It appeared to be a crack
That formed a straight line
Up Mt. Shastina's back
Sitting in wonder
In sight of the show
Thinking if it is time
Then I'm ready to go
I know there's a place
In God's good grace
As we meet face to face
As I've finished my race
But for now
I will sit here and marvel
At her beauty
