South Africa

For I see other countries
But there is a country
South Africa
A place of love and peace
Where there is a clarion call
For responsible citizenship
A place of value and commitment
But there comes

The violence , looting and vandalism
That is horrific and traumatic
For some of us is the first time
But for others is a way of life
This is a pure criminality
It has nothing to do with hanger
This has been a ticking time bomb For some time now

This is a crime issue, not a race issue
But still i say This is South Africa
Let us not use the word looting as a catalyst
Let us not turn a blind eye to some Of the root causes
But let our speech and action reflect this
What exactly are we teaching The future generation ?
Steal to eradicate poverty?
Ohh no!we need justice and unity more than ever
We need to suppress vengeance and Division For this is South
