Speak The Truth

The constant delusion of my life
Keeps me screaming in the dark.
I search frantically to find my way,
But the insanity has left it’s mark.
To see you there in my sight,
Fills my heart with unbridled rage.
How I long to make you feel my pain,
But I’ll just move on and turn the page.
You’re the chapter I want to forget,
In the book I want to burn.
Life’s little lessons are hard sometimes.
We all must live and we must learn.
The knowledge I carry with me now,
Only enforced that which I already knew.
Anybody is capable of anything,
And there aren’t many that speak the truth.

This Poems Story

I wrote this in 2011 about the anger and pain I felt after my second husband walked out on me and my son.
