Stuck in my nightmares

Lost in a realm of shadows and doubt.
Whispers of darkness, haunting my sleep,
In this labyrinth of fears, I silently weep.

Visions of monsters, their eyes filled with ire,
Clawing at my soul, fueling the fire.
Tangled in webs spun by my own mind,
Escape seems impossible, solace hard to find.

Each night I wander, trapped in this trance,
Chased by demons, a macabre dance.
I long for the dawn, the break of the spell,
To bid farewell to this torturous hell.

But hope lingers faintly, a flickering light,
Guiding me through the longest of nights.
With strength and courage, I'll conquer my dread,
Embrace the daylight, release what was said.

For nightmares may haunt, but they cannot define,
The spirit within me that's destined to shine.
I'll break free from this grip, this nocturnal bout,
And banish the demons that keep me without.
