Temperance

She was a perfectionist

All is clean and tidy

She’s worked hard to cleanse her soul

Crying impurities into her lovers bowl

She tempers her temperament

Falling between cracks of spirits cement

Finding a purpose, although she never had one

Divinely guided, dark magic she will shun

Patience is key in this lonely place

One day hoping not to chase

She is now the runner

But there’s nothing spiteful chasing her

Only divine freedom and sunlight

She puts down her sword, no longer in the fight
