The Critic’s Insecurity

Beauty
Pleasing one’s gaze
Having features that aren’t too big or too small
Having a face others would like to draw
Draw
Drawing is a branch of art
Art is beauty
Beauty is art
Are they not the same?
No one says that art should tame.
Critics will look at art and always find the prettiest parts.
But the same critics will look at people and only ever find their faults.
Why do we only find the bad in every situation?
We are such a rude, shallow generation.
Nobody is perfect and we should stop pretending we are.
We all make mistakes and have an abundance of flaws.
Why must we only focus on what we lack?
Why have we made our lives so dreary and black?
Can we not uplift one another?
Is it too hard to leave people alone and not constantly smother?
Is your goal to judge every aspect of a person’s existence?
Or are you so caught up on the idea of being cruel to people all the time staying consistent.
I am beyond tired of trying to keep you all pleased. In today’s world, there is no living in ease.
