The Dream

Bliss consumes my soul
Butterflies churn my stomach
And a genuine smile is creeping
Across my tired face
Heart is pounding
My knees are shaking
Tears of joy, dripping down
My once lifeless face
My dark mind is suddenly finding
The ever-so-mysterious light
Wishes and prayers are turning into
Luxurious reality
I've been searching for this
Happiness
All my short
Meaningless life
The dream was nice while it
Lasted
