The Dream We Know Best

It is dreamt by some, in glorious dreams
The thought that us humans, want our life's too be

Whether it'd be something big or small
It's the thought of what could be, that enlights us all

You may dream of money, a fancy house, or nice cars
Or maybe being famous up on stage in front of all

But the dream that is dreamt, that stands out from the rest
It's the dream of love, it's the one we know best

It's the dream itself that we all connect to
The thought of ones body lying right beside you

You think of the way it felt when kissed on your neck
And how those sensations ran straight down your back

You'll think of their stare as their eyes locked with yours
And how your mind and body were both screaming, wanting more

It was the feeling of their hands as they ran along your sides
And now how your emotions were in control by what you thrived

Then the feeling of their lips pressed against yours
Your bodies once separated, are now one as you've conjoined

It's the feeling of it all that us humans must dream
So we always want connection and remembering how it could be

Because when a person has this in their life
It's that feeling of love and connection our God intended in our life's
