The Fading Traveler....
This Scarlet Traveler
Seems to travel alone
Never quite establishing
Just where he belongs
He's never detected
Until after his voyage
And not quite apparent
Until his peak of annoyance
Beginning vibrant and loud
Before his journey in the water
By the end of this adventure
His vivid color is lighter
This Crimson Explorer
Could never be a mate
For his fading appearance
More than clenches his fate
His mischievous macabre's
Continue week after week
Until.....
Hes known just as that red sock
Found in the white cloths turned pink!!!

This Poems Story
I was just at a loss for something to write about and I happened to be doing laundry so I turned a familiar situation into a riddle for my family and after reading the poem to them without a title and letting them guess what i had written it about, which no one answered correctly I gave it a title and decided it was humorous.
