The Farm
On a farm you will find cows,
And many piglets with the sows,
The sheep are bleating all day long,
Hear the chickens’ cheerful song.
See the crop the farmer sows,
The wheat is standing in orderly rows,
The corn is hauled in day by day,
The horses munch on crunchy hay.
The sun is shining fast and bright,
Giving us our daily light,
The clouds that give us lots of rain,
Can also give us much, much pain.
It is God who gives us all
these things,
And keeps us under his
heavenly wings.
And many piglets with the sows,
The sheep are bleating all day long,
Hear the chickens’ cheerful song.
See the crop the farmer sows,
The wheat is standing in orderly rows,
The corn is hauled in day by day,
The horses munch on crunchy hay.
The sun is shining fast and bright,
Giving us our daily light,
The clouds that give us lots of rain,
Can also give us much, much pain.
It is God who gives us all
these things,
And keeps us under his
heavenly wings.
