The Ghost of Lover\'s Past

I awoke one night
to find a garden of delight
he was standing there
he was dressed in black and white
The ghost of Lover's past had came at last

He showed past memories of you and me
The day we met under lover's tree
back when I was in love so foolishly
The way you smiled was perfect to me
but in the end you loved him instead of me

"so me no more illusions and set me free."
I could not watch another dream
Soon the garden faded away
I found myself in my bed again
