The Lost Man

Trying hard to make it
Know the rules
Don't fake it.

But what if they do?
Why can’t I, too?

Enough.
Enough.
Madness.
Separation.

Smile and be friendly
Be who they need
Don’t show yourself
Never to be freed

Smile and wear the mask
Don’t let them know
You know they’ll believe
Whatever you show

Prisoners.
Change.
Rearrange.
It’s too hard.

You’re in a maze
Can you break free?
Find the true vision
You must be able to see

See through it all
Or you will surely fall

Two games
Not just one
You need the rules to both
You’re getting close…

Almost there…

Do you feel more aware?
That’s a sign.

So secure
So happy and free
I won’t judge you
If you don’t judge me.

Lies.

Lying to keep you comfortable
You may not like what you see
Lying to keep you comfortable
I still don’t believe in me

Don’t lie.

Don’t lie.

They don’t like liars
But they’re all liars too
Oh this game!
You must
break through.
