The Old Church Bell

How sweet the sound
of melancholy in the echoes
that it lends.
It's ding and dong,
all morning long,as a
funeral begins.
It's gentle sway, throughout
the day,plays a new love
song.
It's lyric lies in somber cries,
throughout the morning long.
As the families grieve, and
start to leave, and bid their
last farewell, within
the tower,on the hour,dings
the Old Church Bell.
