The Quiet Ones
People assume quiet and nonverbal people are not intelligent. They talk about the people when they are in the same room as them instead of talking to them, as if quiet and nonverbal people do not understand what is going on. Could it be that quiet people just don’t enjoy pointless chatter and gossip and people who are nonverbal know a lot more than people who never stop talking?
Let’s give every quiet/nonverbal person a pen or pencil and a notebook and ask them to write down everything thing they know, write about their emotions, and write about their opinions on different issues. Chances are, they would need more than one notebook.
