The Son and the Moon

There was silence in the heavens
The angels stood in sight
This was one battle they weren't allowed to fight
The Son had found his Moon
Lost in all the darkness, she fought to find the light
The demons were upon her, they pulled her deep into the night
Armed and brightly shining, The Son dissolved the veil
He found the blackened river, to rescue her from Hell
Out of the River, the Dragon rose to fight
He claimed her soul was his, belonging to the night
And with one fatal swipe, The Son reclaimed his bride
She lept to his embrace,tears of joy she cried
Their love locked together, deep in each other's eyes
The vast mass of Heaven cheered
The Moon was home at last, All her crimes had been cleared
Forevermore in the sky, the Queen shall remain
Ruling with her Love in their Eternal reign
