This Fight

By Zuxian

Punch in the face, jaw broke.

Nose in disgrace, rill of blood.

From mound to pulp, face grows.

Like quake to ruins, odds of flood.

Life owns this ring, the fourth round.

Spines groan 'nd sting, I dropped down.

But my towel I put up, fanning froze fury.

To have the arm numb, consoles to throw it in.

This Poems Story

We are all at war with life. While many of us keep pushing and fighting until we see the light of the tunnel, a few of us throw in the towel. This is dedicated to those of us who keep on fighting, holding up the towel and not giving in!
