Three Birds

Three birds sitting in a tree,
one's you, one's her, one's me.
Unfurl your wings and explore,
Continuously making your return through my door
Stay a permanent part of me,
Etched in like a tattoo for all to see
Because our souls are intertwined into one,
Without all of us there is none.
God knew we needed each other
So He made me your wife
And to her He gave a mother.
Three birds sitting in a tree,
one's you, one's her, one's me.
