Trees*

Amidst the world where concrete sprawls,
Where hurried footsteps heed no calls,
Stands a silent realm of grace,
A symphony of life, a tranquil space.

Trees, the guardians of the earth,
From humble saplings to majestic girth,
They reach for skies with leafy hands,
A dance of ages, where time expands.

Their roots delve deep into ancient soil,
Stories of centuries within them coil,
Whispering secrets to the passing breeze,
a tapestry woven through nature's ease.

In springtime's embrace, they bud anew,
Emerald hues kissed with morning dew,
A chorus of birds takes refuge high,
Amongst the branches that touch the sky.

Summer brings a vibrant canopy,
A shelter from the sun's decree,
Rustling leaves in the gentle wind,
A soothing balm for a weary mind.

Autumn's touch paints the foliage gold,
A masterpiece of colors, bold and old,
Leaves descend like nature's confetti,
A celebration of life's grand fête.
´
And when the frost of winter arrives,
They stand undaunted as nature strives,
Skeletons adorned with frosty lace,
A testament to resilience and grace.

Oh, trees, you're more than timber and shade,
A realm of wonder where dreams are laid,
You teach us strength in stillness found,
In every ring, a tale profound.

So let us cherish your silent song,
In forests vast and woodlands long,
For in your branches, stories reside,
Eternal guardians of life's sweet stride.
