Trees tell no lies
Listen to the trees they tell no liesThey listen and hurt even though they don't cry
Whispering about when people did care
And hide and seek and truth and dare
Then it got dark an they burned them down
They walked away without making a sound
They say the weakness lied in the roots
It's the lie that help them sleep so it suits
