Walls

I've plastered the walls
Those put for protection
placed cement in every crevice
All while pleading to hear your voice

The blockage spread from misdirection
Presently, no crack for this transmission
I've pointed the dagger at my reflection
The canvas of demise in shambles created

Knees bloodied, kneeling to plead
Where is the intrument for demolition
Breakthrough impossible from external
Clawing through to send just a whisper

Assault barricades created by trauma
Clutch onto a small glimpse of yearning
These Barriers, meant to be destroyed
Embrace will come to those persistent
