Waves of emotion
Waves of emotion keep crashing over me
Thoughts race through my head
I cannot turn them off
I cry, then instantly stop
My heart races
Tears are building up
But they won't fall down
I am always looking over my shoulder
Looking for hurt and pain to keep knocking
Looking for the demons of my past to get me
Praying I don't lose all hope
Needing my sanity and peace
Tormented by the trauma
Confused by the words
Conflicted with those around me
No clear path is before me
The shadows are over taking me
Drowning in the Waves that crash upon the shore
