With a friend

Make love with a friend
make friends with a lover
then really compare the two,
and see that a friend
will love you more
than a lover
who tries to be friends.

i feel my love
is more than you care for,
but you do want to hold on
to a friend.

and that’s okay by me
i just can’t quite conceive,
what’s so wrong making love
with a friend?
