Words
Letters floating aimlessly all alone
scattered in our minds
until they are assembled
five special characters
hugging them into words
each with their own identity
we tether them in single file
then stack them with a meter
sometimes may even rhyme
stories are told, our feelings unfold
expressing our metaphoric thoughts,
as ink's pictorial lyrics
lay permanently on the page.
