Yes We Will

If I was a ghost and you were a specter
Would we haunt the same places?
After our short lives, so long in balance
Are overtaken by the abysmal moon
And the mystery and majesty of the dark
Would we be together in the dirt?
Could we share the same worms?
Might we our bodies rest intwined?
Because I cannot, will not, be without you
Since the parking lot you have been
My heart, my breath, my love, my all
Even before that hot August day
You were my destiny and future
So will we finish forever in the dirt
Yes. We will.
