You are my Quiet
You are my quiet
In a world that never sleeps—
A hush between heartbeats,
A gentle hush that keeps
The wildness of my longing
Soft as a feathered sigh,
The place where all my aching
Finds a reason why.
You are my morning
When the night has been too long,
The golden hush of sunlight
That turns my shadows strong.
You are the answer
To every silent prayer—
My heart’s forever shelter,
My always, waiting there.
In a world that never sleeps—
A hush between heartbeats,
A gentle hush that keeps
The wildness of my longing
Soft as a feathered sigh,
The place where all my aching
Finds a reason why.
You are my morning
When the night has been too long,
The golden hush of sunlight
That turns my shadows strong.
You are the answer
To every silent prayer—
My heart’s forever shelter,
My always, waiting there.
