You Belong
Though it be hard,
Though it be long,
I will wait forever,
So you see you belong
Right here in my arms
In no other place.
You belong with me,
No heartbreak to face.
Do not worry or fret,
For I will never leave.
To you and your coming,
I will always cleave.
You are the bright light,
The star I follow.
The goal I will reach
Someday in tomorrow.
Sleep well for now
Because one day
We will come together
Some unexpected way.
I will smile (I hope)
And maybe you will grin.
You will see we are meant to be
Outwards and in.
Though it be long,
I will wait forever,
So you see you belong
Right here in my arms
In no other place.
You belong with me,
No heartbreak to face.
Do not worry or fret,
For I will never leave.
To you and your coming,
I will always cleave.
You are the bright light,
The star I follow.
The goal I will reach
Someday in tomorrow.
Sleep well for now
Because one day
We will come together
Some unexpected way.
I will smile (I hope)
And maybe you will grin.
You will see we are meant to be
Outwards and in.
