You & I

You punch me I bruise
You cut me I bleed
You trip me I fall
Y'all, this aint what we need

You kick me I limp
You bump me I stumble
You grab me I stop
This is more than a fumble

You punch me I slip
You slap me I turn
You hurt me I fail
Yeah, we’ll all crash and burn

But I've learned to move on
To forgive and forget
To look out with love
And accept all their debt
