A Mothers Worst Fear

The day they meet that little baby
The baby who will now see the whole world

The day they couldn't explain with words

Not sleeping because their baby told them no
But, also scared that if they even blink
The baby will say adios

I'm no mother,
But even I know

That if that baby ever goes cold
The mother will no longer be bold

There's nothing stronger than a mother's love
But if you ever break that woman's heart
Nothing will hurt more than when her love stops

It's one of the greatest things you could ever feel
So great you would shout it in a crowded field

She may not be my blood
But one of the reasons I love her most

Is that even when I fail
She'll always be there
Even when she's a ghost.
